Well — “Shake My Tree” was pretty good, with a groove reminiscent of “Nobody’s Fault.” I am not a fan of Coverdale’s voice, I must admit; too eighties-big-hair for me. Also, were songs longer in 1993? “I’m Waiting on You” got redundant and fatiguing.

This sounds like a parody of eighties hard rock. It is Jimmy Page’s last chance to hit the highs of the Zeppelin days. Too harsh? Maybe. But none of it is very memorable — except perhaps “Shake My Tree.” “Take Me for a Little While” is a truly sappy power ballad, or else the parody of one.
